The Role
The Field Service Engineer will assist with liquid and gas equipment installation, liquid canisters changes and facilitate prompt return of empty cylinders and canisters. Continuous on the job technical and personal training will be provided by more experienced and senior service engineers to help the candidate increase competency and progress through upper levels of training. The successful candidate will provide professional quality of work to Entegris Customers.
In this role you will
- Installs new or modified equipment at customer's facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications.
- Provides on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and phone repair equipment. On duty phone needed and standby for 24 hours on call
- Maintains records of performance reports.
- Assists in the development of service handbooks and bulletins based on field investigations, engineering changes, and overall knowledge of product.
- Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with installation, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, engineering change upgrades, etc. of all Entegris equipment.
- Attend all personal and technical training to maintain a professional level of engineering expertise.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate
- Two year technical school degree in engineering, science or chemistry field required and a four year College Degree a positive.
- 1+ Experience in field support/service of similar experience with a capital equipment company CVD/CMP/WET module EE&PE experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication and customer interface skills
- Team work – take responsibility for self and team and delivers on commitments. Focuses on team success and assumes accountability for team results.
- Customer service – Ensure customer satisfaction with installation, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, engineering change upgrades, etc. of all Entegris equipment
- Personal – Self driven individual who is interested in continuous improvement and learning the semiconductor industry.
- Travelling is necessary within Its region and overseas
